High-tech agenda for Germany

Some of our senators were invited to the coalition talks between the CDU, CSU and SPD in spring 2025 and were able to provide important input in this context.
We are pleased to say that elements of this exchange can be found in the German High-Tech Agenda of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.

The High-Tech Agenda Germany is a federal government funding programme that specifically strengthens research, technology and digitalisation in order to drive innovation in key areas. One focus is on health research, for example in the development of data-driven and personalised prevention approaches that aim to detect diseases at an early stage and prevent them on an individual basis.

In the relevant section 4, Biotechnology, we, as the Health Senate of the German Oral Health Foundation, together with our partner dentognostics GmbH, find ourselves particularly reflected in this passage:
‘(...) Germany, as a centre for biotechnology, has the opportunity to lead the expected shift in medicine towards innovative and tailor-made, personalised therapies and a sustainable bio-based economy, and to contribute to overcoming global challenges in climate, environmental and resource protection. (...)’
